Lost and Found!
Hey JBE parents- Has your child lost one (or a few) jackets? Sweatshirts? Hats? Water bottles? Lunchboxes? The lost and found at JBE is overflowing this time of year, so I know I’m not alone. Read on to see how the help of a new process can get these items back to their students with the help of a few great volunteers!
1st: EVERYONE CLICK THIS LINK - and review the photos we’ve taken of EVERYTHING in the main lost and found area. Even if you didn’t think you lost something… you might have without even knowing! JBE Lost Items Photo Album
2nd: IF YOU IDENTIFY AN ITEM IN THE PHOTOS - click this link and fill out a quick form to get the item back to your kiddo. JBE Found Item Claim Form
3rd: LABEL YOUR ITEMS - the following link is a fundraising link for incredible labels. (Right now they are having a big sale!) As someone who just went through all the lost items, I can attest these are way better than illegible sharpie marker on a tag. Fundraising Support | Mabel’s Labels | Raise Funds With Kids Labels
FROM NOW ON: STILL CAN’T FIND YOUR STUFF or LOST SOMETHING RECENTLY?? For the remainder of the year, if your student can’t find something, fill out this form and we will be on the hunt for you. JBE Lost Item Submission Form
If all else fails, you can also email email@example.com.

Message from Principal Fountain

I am still shaken by the news of the Texas school shooting. I wish that this heinous violence didn't exist; it is heart-wrenching. However, I am reaching out to you to assure you that JBE has a robust safety and security plan, guided by CCSD's Safety and Security Management Team. The Safety and Security Management Team comes to JBE randomly and multiple times a year to assess our level of safety. They check gates, doors, and windows, and look for any weak spots. They are thorough and we always receive specific and informative feedback. Please watch this video on their website to learn about protocols we utilize to keep your children safe.
Now go hug your children, while they lay peacefully in bed, and count your blessings as you relax knowing your JBE family will show up again in the morning and do every possible thing to keep your children safe.

AUTISM AWARENESS WEEK
4/22/2022 6:20 pm
Autism Awareness Week is April 25th-28th. On Thursday we will be “lighting it up BLUE” wearing our awesome JBE Autism Awareness T-shirts! If you do not have one, please wear something BLUE! Students can add this t-shirt to their uniform rotation on any given Friday! However, we would like for this specific shirt to be worn this Thursday with the donation of $1. We will be donating 100% of the proceeds to the Lowcountry Autism Foundation (LAF). And, the house that donates the most earns 50 extra points! Carline party will also be Thursday morning!
