- Don't miss out at the Spring Party 04/27/24 where we'll be offering slots for next year. Be sure to mark your calendar!

Your continued support is truly appreciated!

Winter Uniform Window is open!  Order here til 01/28/24.

Follow the Money! Ever wondered where the $200k we raise annually with JBE One goes? While our website offers a comprehensive budget breakdown here, let's shine a spotlight today on the significant $80k dedicated to additional staffing.

Your phenomenal support in events like the Color Run and Spring Party (save the date 4/27) enables us to provide your children with valuable resources, including a part-time reading interventionist, a dedicated greenhouse teacher, and a full-time Technology teacher. Notably, our commitment extends beyond the district's contribution, ensuring that every student has access to technology.

During the festive season, your generous donations allowed us to distribute thousands of dollars in gift cards to Special Area teachers, the Janitorial Team, Lunchroom staff, and the front office team. It's all thanks to you!

Your contributions make a real impact on the education and well-being of our students. Let's keep the momentum going!

JBE Tennis Tryouts - got a tennis player?  We'd love them to join the team!  JBE tennis tryouts will be held end of January. CD-5th grade are welcome to come out for the team. Matches start in March, are held at 4 pm weekdays or 1-5 pm Sat/Sun at various locations around the Charleston area.  Kids should continue lessons/clinics on their own schedule at their club of choice. The tennis team does not hold practices. Please email Jodi Purcell ( for my information and to receive tryout communications.

Welcome Alison Papdaplous! Ms. Papdaplous is our new school counselor.  Be on the look out for a social media post highlighting her this week.

Want to get involved? So many ways!  Neighborhood Captains, Greenhouse, Community Building, planning fun events, field trips, website coordination, general leadership, teacher appreciation - we need your help!  Give Katie a shout at to learn more about opportunities to get involved.
